I always wanted to see and understand how those amazingly perfect spice stacks as pictured above were formed and remained in place. And further how one would extract spice for a customer without the stack falling apart and self destructing and making a mess. The ones always seen in travel magazines and promotions on Morocco.
Well, I can report, to much disappointment that we have all been taken for a ride, they are fake! They are made of cardboard covered with glue and then dusted with spice.
